Quick Update!!

A really quick update!

*Dave moved into a new house!

*Derek tracked drums for a (I think still un-announced) tribute album... (Yes, I know what it
was though =)

*All that's left to track for One Little Light Year? Vocals on (the song) "One Little Light Year",
A guitar touch-up on "When Will It End?", A few touch-ups on "Homecoming", and one more almost full tune... We're waiting on another bunch of mixes to come back for a bunch of other tunes.

*I'm tired and beat up from moving.

Good night... and good luck.

2 Silly Videos from Tracking

2 Silly Videos from the tracking sessions.

The first is Dave, Derek and Ben playing their patented mega-floor-tom routine for a part
in "The Pieces Fall" from the One Little Light Year sessions.

Here's the 2nd... which I dubbed "Beat Box Superflootz"
My good friend Andrew Brown messing around while laying down his
iPhone Ocarina part for "When Will It End" (Yes, there's an app for that)

Be good

Let's get on with it already!

Hey peoples.

So. This is the new home for T A N G E N T S official blog. Things are in a bit of tailspin right at the moment. Derek is about to land back in the States (any minute now!) fresh off the Unearth European tour, and I have been slowly been tracking stuff at home for the album.

We are still trying to finalize a song lineup for the album, but hopefully, all of that will work itself out shortly. Most likely the album will contain 11 songs (down from the original 15!) but, we shall see once we regroup here. For the next few days however, it will be family time as Derek returns home and I get ready to move into a new one...

More updates soon. First is short and sweet.

blarg.
